How to Grow Your Own Fluffy Flannel Hair
With its wispy curls and fluffy curls on the back, curly hair has long been a favorite among fashion-conscious women, and it is still a popular choice for fashionistas who are willing to wear the hair in its more casual style.
But according to new research, curly curls are not just for the fashionistas: They can also be used for everyday styling, and in some cases, they can be used to grow facial hair too.
To find out more about curly hair, we spoke with the director of the research team at National Geographic’s Hair Lab, which is focused on curling hair and other hairstyles.

How to Grow Curly Hair?1.
Cut off the hair before it starts to grow, if possible.
Cut out any hair that grows out of the back of the head.
You can cut off any hair with too much frizz or wispiness and it will grow out.2.
Cut it into a short strand and cut it into shorter ones.
Cut them at different lengths to create a different texture.3.
Use the strands to shape curls, as in this example:1.
To create a long hair, curl a long piece of hair into a long curly strand and a short piece of curly hair into short curls.2,3,4.
To make a short hair, twist a short length of hair and a long length of curly strand into short, long, or both.5.
To add length, curl long hair into shorter curls.6.
To remove hair, cut off hair from the back and place it on a towel.7.
Cut the hair and use it as a natural hair straightener.8.
To style hair, place the hair under the direction of your stylist.
What to Do if You’re Not Sure?1) Start with your hair cut.
You want to try and cut your hair into manageable lengths.2) Do not apply any shampoo, conditioner, or moisturizer.
Hair is a delicate product and you will need to do this in a controlled fashion to ensure that the hair is well cared for.3) Don’t apply hair straighteners to hair.4) If you want to use a curling iron, put the hair straight back into a bunting.
